Preparing your Property

We know that most property owners will have invested a great deal of time and money in their properties before offering it up for tenancy.

Here are a few things we suggest if you haven't already done them;
  • Clean the property thoroughly including windows - we recommend a professional clean (the tenant must return the property in this condition at the end of lease)
  • The outdoor areas swept and garden beds weeded and foliage trimmed (it is the tenants' responsibilty to keep it the same way)
  • Make every effort to secure the property, security is much sought after by a good tenant. ie window locks, security screens, deadlocks, alarm system. All of which can reduce your insurance premium for the property.
  • Air conditioning is also a great draw card for tenants when looking for the ideal property.
