Preparing your Property
We know that most property owners
will have invested a great deal of time and money
in their properties before offering it up for

them;
- Clean the property
thoroughly including windows - we recommend
a professional clean (the tenant must return
the property in this condition at the end of
lease)
- The outdoor areas swept
and garden beds weeded and foliage trimmed
(it is the tenants' responsibilty to keep it
the same way)
- Make every effort to secure
the property, security is much sought
after by a good tenant. ie window locks, security
screens, deadlocks, alarm system. All of which
can reduce your insurance premium for the property.
- Air conditioning
is also a great draw card for tenants when looking
for the ideal property.
- If you are looking for a long term tenant
make sure they have everything
they need so that they can stay and become
an asset to your investment portfolio, not to
mention adding value to your investment.
